Extreme w/ virus TI snow and Motif ES rack

Hi.I wish to midi both racks with my Extreme.I have an idea how to do it but I want to know how you guys will do it.Basically,I will use the Extreme as the controller and the sequencer and would like to capture the midi cc when i turn the Snow's knobs.How then shall I interconnect the 2 racks. To use the Extreme as a MIDI Controller:

1. Extreme MIDI OUT to MOTIF MIDI IN

2. MOTIF MIDI THRU TO SNOW MIDI IN

But to use the Extreme as a sequencer and capture MIDI controller events from the racks, I'm not sure on how to go about.

I think you should use a MIDI Merger.
