Hello, I'm very new to the Korg TR ( just bought it a few days ago ) and I was wondering how to rearrange programs and combis. I'm using the TR in a live performance setting and I need to put my preferred programs in order (I'm using many different voices in one song) and switch through them with a pedal. I know that you can overwrite other programs, but it would be nice to just rearrange them instead of erasing pre-existing programs.
Any help would be much appreciated...Thanks!
PS - Also, I read that you can hold ENTER and press REC to set up a metronome...is this the only way of doing so when practicing with a click track?
THANKS!

Khm...
Be careful with rearranging Programs. It will effect the combis.
The preset is always stored in memory. You can't harm it. (Global>F8>Load preload Data). 1 combi consist of up to 8 programs.
In case you only wish to use Programs do whatever you want. Copy the desired program to the desired place. If by this you overwrite other needed program go to Global>F8>Load Demo Data>choose program number and load it to the desired place. In this case all of the Combis will crash
Easier to use combis for this reorganisation. All the same steps, but no harm for programs.

I always use Combis for this, it has many advantages, not the least of which is the split keyboard feature, which I use frequently these days.

Re: Rearranging programs/combis?
Use combis.....instead of programs....read the OG to arrange the combis....in combi mode u can keep just one prog in one combi & switch from one combi after another in live shows....
Or u can keep maximum of 8 progs in one combi & u can switch one after another eaisly by using the "solo select track" in the utility mode.....just enable it & press TIMBRE/TRACK button & the F1 - F8 buttons simultaneously.......the first method is easier as it requires only one button press.....
