X-50 - Turn off keyboard in multimode

Hello!

New at the forum and new with the X-50 and Korg (Have been in to at lot of Alesis synthesizers earlier).

I´m trying to create a song using multi mode (16-track midi) and Cubase as external sequencer.
I want to "record" the song track by track. Start by playing track one and then move on with track two and so on.

The problem is.
In one of my Alesis synth thats not a problem because I can turn off the keyboard for track one (ch1) and record track two (ch2) on the keyboard at the same time. Wich means that I have two channels playing at the same time, Ch1 receving midi from Cubase and Ch2 from the keyboard.

Of course this must be possible in X50 - But how do I do?

I have consulted the manual but I can´t find the answers here (p69. "using and editing Multi sets").

So please help me!
