How to connect & program my new Behringer FCV100 Foot Pe

Post by cindinj »

Yikes! We're so confused. The Triton I normally use has a Korg pedal with one cable going from the pedal to the board to control the volume. We've tried everything with this one and nothing is working. This pedal has 2 inputs and 2 outputs (says it can control the volume of up to 2 devices at a time but we only need it to control volume on the Triton). Does anyone know how to connect this and set the global settings so it actually works? Help!!

TIA,

well, i don't know this particular pedal but try switching the polarity in global mode, that seems to be a hitch most people face at some point with pedals.

you should connect the output 2 of the pedal to the expression pedal input of your triton and put the cv-norm switch on the pedal to "CV"... and then choose from the global menu what you want the exp. pedal to control.

It sounds like this pedal is to be hooked up audio and not through the pedal sockets. I have a volume pedal that hook into the audio outputs in the keyboard then from the pedal to what ever you have the output of the keyboard hooked to now. It can control two mono devices or one stereo device.

Thanks all for the responses. I played out Saturday night and the band leader brought his Triton with the SAME pedal and he had it setup exactly as I've been trying. I was starting to think my pedal was busted or something was wrong with the Korg. Anyway, I was (DUH DUH DUH) using a mono cable to try to connect it via the CV route which was my problem. I have to pick up a stereo cable and I'll be good to go. THANK YOU all for your help!!
