Not seeing the O76 at Sweetwater is discouraging but Korg's track record with many fine developments for the Oasys is equally encouraging.

Who's Stephen M and what youtube videos are you talking about?

I do not think Korg owe anyone an explanation - but I now wish they would make some sort of statement to calm the rumours. It's getting incredibly tiring; though it is indeed important.

Stralner,

You have posted numerous posts on the Karma Forum and here, and they're either frantically hopeful about the Oasys future, or morbidly pessimistic. You keep repeating yourself over and over again, now THAT'S getting boring... The only thing you're achieving is starting negative rumours about this or that, based on thin ground. Remember, Korg is reading!!

Listen, we're all in the same boat: proud Oasys owners who wish for Korg statements and upgrades.

Please try to restrain yourself a little bit. Korg will announce whatever when they feel they're ready.
Paul: Don't be nervous.
John: I'M NOT NERVOUS!!!

I'm not the least bit frustrated. I bought the OASYS for what it could do for me, 3 years ago (which was only half as much as now). All the add ons have been gravy! :D

I have bought way too much musical gear to ever expect much more than what I was getting, the day I was buying it. If you compare to products like the Fusion, the VariOS and many others, I really don't know what the frustration is about. Not only did the OASYS grow over 3 years, but I'm thinking it may offer a few new tricks, yet.

I am sure Korg is fully aware that almost every Oasys owner is very happy with their purchase and that there is only a few that complain instead of expressing humble wishing.
I would be very surprised if the M3 and the Oasys did not contain a common codebase, although the Oasys is more complex, so if the Oasys will not get an upgrade soon I'll eat my hat :-)

As your fellow Swede, let me add:

If it doesn't get an upgrade soon, I will eat not only my hat, but also the dust cover my wife made for the Oasys. :D

Oh yes, the dust cover, I must remind my wife of making me one of these ;-)

BTW, Im not sure if the Beatles was referring to the saying "When in danger when in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout", but somehow I prefer their interpretation of it rather than many too many of the posts I've read about the future of the Oasys. I cannot tell the future of every Oasys, but I sure know that the future, just as the past, of my Oasys is bright! Anyone doubting the future of his/her Oasys should stop running around, sit down, and spend more time with it!
