so ...

I found everithing i need to know and I'm about to buy this mixer ... but I need to know few more things ...

1. when u switch from audio to audio midi and u have audio playing ... is there any audio interuption or click ... ( I would like to be able in the midle of the song to switch betwen using effects or midi )

2. when u set a channel to midi did audio passes thru anyway ?

Hi,

1. -> There is a short break in the audio signal when you switch from audio (firewire) to audio/midi (firewire) and back.

2. -> Yes, if you use the firewire interface (audio, audio/midi, midi) the audio signal pass thru anyway.

The different between audio/midi and midi:

@ audio/midi - you can use the EQ of the Zero4/8 and the cue and A/B buttons... for audio. Only the send knobs (ext1, ext2 and Zero fx send) and the pan knob are midi controller

@ midi - All controllers (except the gain knob) can be use for midi action

attention: There is a software buck (v1.60) ext1, ext2 and Zero fx send are not independent per channel.
It's not possible to mix external fx equipment with software fx in one session/mix.

thanks ...

so with zero 4 selected to midi and create traktor setup to use Xone 92 eq , do all necesary midi mapings it will feel like mixing on xone 92 ( at least the eq part ) ... great ...

i go to order one :)
