Korg N364 compared to my TR

Post by lazerfist »

Damn it, my old N364 had a nice piano and string patch, where is it on my TR?

There are several Piano String patches on the TR that blow away the patch on my old, but beloved N364.
Try Combi A000, and turn knob 1 for more, or less strings.
I've created several, and don't remember which are mine, and which are Korgs, but Combi C000 is also a String Pad w Piano, also C003, and these two are my own I think, but I also have them on Combi C086, and C096.

Create your own, why don't you?

A110 - piano pad is okay. aside from that you'd have to make you're own. but I can imagine you could easilly just take A110 and change the sample for the strings from *217: Analog Strings 2* to say *130: String Quartet 2* (my preference) or *123: String Ens -L*

these can be found under "BASIC: OSC2"

That's very cool actually, I found that Analog Strings #215 makes for a nice big string sound.
Thanks for that, I learned something new.

What the hell are you talking about? TR has 10 times better and absolutely more realistic piano, strings, santur and vibraphone than n364!

Helouuu ???!!!
