MicroKorg & MS2000 presets for R3

Post by Cassini »

I've copied the Official Radias ports into R3 data.

I have neither a microKorg or MS2000 but apart from the DWGS/PCM differences, LFO phase and waveshaping, TimeKey Changes, Polyphony and patchname size the values are all exact (apart from my mistakes :) ).

The microKorg copies are initially a little sloppy on the Mono 1/2 front. I have not programmed sequencers for the Microkorg values. Labelling on the microKorg ports is incomplete.

The MS2000 copies are limited by the R3's single sequencer, but I have copied one sequence over.

I've submitted them for upload so hopefully that will occur soon but for now if you want the patches contact me.

Thanks

Add another pm to the list.
Thanks for your time and effort! I'm not that great at programming my own sounds, so this is a real treat. Like getting more synths for the same price.

thanks,
shane

I've sent the patches out to all those who've requested and to Daz so they should be available to download soon.

Thanks

I don't know if anyone noticed on the radias convert patches, or on here... but I found that where distortion was on the microkorg, to get the same sound (i had the two side by side for a while), you need to set the depth to 64. on the patches drive was turned on but depth was zero.

K, so I am kind of new to this. I have both Microkorg and R3. I like alot of the sounds on the Micro better, but cannot deal with the tiny keys. The R3 in turn has alot of presets that are better than the Microkorg. I was waiting to test the R3 for a while to decide which one I wanted to keep.

My question is this:

If I install this to my R3, can I decide what it overwrites? No matter what I will have to lose out on some sounds, because the R3 preset will be swapped for the Micro sound, right?
