Hi Thomas,

Thanks for spotting my mistake - I edited the first post to correct #80 to #64. I mailed you the file.

Could anyone else wanting the "Grand Piano RX 2" sound from me, please send me an EMAIL (not a post or a PM on this thread). This makes it easier for me - all I have to do is click "reply" and attach the file. The EMAIL button below all my posts is my EMAIL address!

If anyone wants a copy of the finished .SET file, you can download it here. You have to become a member of www.createsongstyles.com before you can see the downloads:

Just refreshed this post again for Tanya and others recently discussing piano sounds. You might want to follow the "how to" guide and make the same modifications as I did - then you will be ready to tweak the whole keyboard the way you want it!

Best regards,

Hi Rob,

Will the Grand Piano RX 2 work on the pa800 as well?

I noticed that my pa800 uses GM while the pa2x uses GM2, which doubles the polyphony (Is this correct?). Will this affect my ability to improve the Grand Piano RX?

Thanks, Avi

Hi Avi,

I think the changes I suggested would also work to some extent on the Pa800. However the grand piano piano samples on the Pa800 are not the same as the grand piano samples on the Pa2x, so the end result will not sound as good. Give it a go and let me know your conclusions?

I understand from Korg that the grand piano samples on the Pa2x are the same as the Pa588.

Best regards,
Rob
