I'm a big fan of the Korg Pa2X. But I have 2 leds not working. I took the machine for repair ,but they said that I'll have to wait for about 4-5 weeks before the leds get here.(I live in Denmark). I have been a pro musician for more than 25 years so I can't live with those long repair times(still warranty). The company 'HI END' Copenhagen takes care of most repairs for Korg in Denmark won't hardly let any other tecnician in on manuals and spare parts ,cos 'HI END' wanna do all repairs on Korg. Even though the other companies do better and faster support.I know for a fact that ,when send to another tecnician,´Hi END' charges roughly 5 US$ for one led+12$ for handling and postage(only they don't have leds in stock).
That kind bad service and extremly high prices, makes warranty repairs very expensive for Korg, and almost impossible for a private person after the warranty has expired.
The real big problem for me is:
I don't dare sell my PA1x ,because it would cost me a lot of money in lost gigs if my PA2x broke down.I don't think it's right that you have to buy 2 PA's in order to be sure one is always working.Right now I'm considering the T3 ,not because i like it, but because of the obove.
The bigger problemfor Korg:
One of my colleges just sold his Pax1 ,because he had to wait for minor spare parts for more than 2 months. He was gonna buy the PA2x,
but chose the Tyros 3 only because it gets faster repaired ,and there is a lot more Tyros 3 on the market in Denmark. So he can always borrow one from the store if his brooke down.
It would be very hard to borrow a PA2x from a store in denmark ,as even major stores don't have it in stock. The PA2x is very badly advertised in
Denmark ,and there is no demo tours like in Italy and Germany.People simply don't that there is a wonderfull machine out there.

Yeh you're right. Very little PR for the PA2xPro (netherlands) In fact I was almost buying the Tyros 2, but then I suddenky noticed the Pa2xPro. After playing it a while and reading this forum i was convinced it would be my choice.kid_late wrote:....The PA2x is very badly advertised in

Hej kid_late
Yes we are a little "but Exclusive" group of musicians using PA2XPRO
in Denmark. DON´T KNOW WHY ? think it is bad marketing and culture.
what part of Denmark do you come from ?
Maybe we could help each other in case of a breakdown.
It is rather disturbing information you come with conc service.
Maybe we could talk with our dealer about this before the trouble is there.
PRO musicians can not live with that.
I always have a spare keyboard ready. Tried once that a G-800 died
the evening before a job. Luckyli I found a used in dba and got ready to the job the day after. But after then I´ve always have had two keyboards.
(A SD-1 "great kbd also)

A sugestion
By the way...
I have mp3´ed most of my dance repertoire as a safety backup.
In a emergency situation you could then play them from an ipod and acomp. with your extra kbd. This is ofcause a solution to use only in need.
