USB problem

Post by mohous »

Hello, M3 users,

Can someone help please?

I bought my M3 few weeks ago and at last I've found the time to enjoying seriously this beauty, and now want to use it in Sonar as control surface.

I try to link my M3 to my computer via USB but it's not recognised by windows "Vista", I have installed the M3 drivers exactly the way it's recommanded.

I have several USB in my computer and none of theme recognize the M3.

These USB are well working everything I plug to them is recognise, even my Lexicon Alpha I've just received, but not the M3.

Can someone tell me please how to fix this problem.

Thank you.

If you have a spare USB drive, try formatting it with the M3. I always stayed aways from Vista I am afraid.

Thank you ashboe for your response.

I finaly get it recognised.

I bought this afternoon a USB PCI card expansion and placed it in a free PCI slot of my PC.

Have connected the M3 to one of the new USB port and boom! Here it is.

Realy strange, I'm still wondering why the others ports don't recognise the M3.

That so much makes no sense - you can thank the idiots in Redmond for such stellar USB support!
