RADIAS Outputs Out of Phase?

Post by Mihaly27 »

I have noticed that the L+R outputs on my RADIAS appear to be out of phase. When I switch the phase of one side, the sound has more power - particularly the Bass.

It only happens withe the RADIAS, so It's not any other part of the chain.

Has anyone else tried this? Am I imagining it...

Might it be one of your cables, from the Radias' outputs?

The Tip/Sleeve wiring might be reversed.

Try this test again with all the FX off and all unison circuits off...

grab Noise on osc 1 , using the mod sweep thru the filters....

redo your phase test.... is the low end attenuation gone???

Unison will shift out the phase as will any time/ delay effect....

You can only say the outputs are out of phase if this still happens while you are sending identical signals to both outputs....

If you are using any stereo FX or unison or any panning,
You cannot claim it is the phasing of the outputs...

Send a single mono source with "unison off" directly ("bypassing FX") with the panning centred .... this is the only way you can make these claims....

If the low end dropps out when both channels are on together, yes your outputs are phase shifted...
