ms20 has FM?(cross mod?)

External Modulation 2 FM MG/T.EXT

what does this mean? does it have classic FM with oscillators modulating each other? not clear to me...also theres no documentation to show how this could used or done.
a preset with a classic fm patch would help....but i guess in any cae the results will be poor as ideally u need 2 sines (and the ms20 only has sine on one oscillator).

thanks

And "classic FM" would require through-zero oscillators, which the MS20 doesn't have either.

No, FM is just what it says: frequency modulation. You modulate the frequency by the external voltage. For classic fm the VCO needs to be able to handle negative modulation voltages (it needs to take that sine as input...), i.e. go "through zero".
