Silent sounds on O/S 2.0
I am sure that there is a simple explanation for this, it's probably just me.
If you select Standard 8 beat from the new styles.Select STS3, you will find
Upper 1 is Jimmy's Organ dnc, upper 2 is Super BX perc and upper 3 is jazz organ. Upper 2 and upper 3 are muted. When I unmute them, I get no sound at all from them. Is this me doing something wrong.

Hi Chris,
Sorry I don't have my Pa2x at the moment (it's at the Labs), but could you check the following?
Go to Sound Play mode, and select each of those sounds in turn, onto UPPER1. Do the sounds play in that mode?
If not then please contact JerryTheK about it, Korg need to find a solution.
Thanks,
Rob

Hi Chris,
Yes, you are right. I can reproduce it on my Pa800. On some of the new styles the style programmer has forgotten to set the fx sends for Upper 2+3. It is easy to do yourself:
Go to Mixer Tuning/Volume Pan and make sure that there is a check mark in the dry boxes for Upper 2+3. The go to Mixer Tuning/FX Send and set the amount of FX C and FX D you want applied to Upper 2+3. As a starting point you could use the settings from Upper 1.
I am sure Korg will fix this in the next OS release.
Kind regards,
Tommy

Thanks guys, but you do NOT need to send me PM's. I, Paolo and others read the forums regularly.
Rob - I appreciate your help but you don't need to send every issue to my attention by recommending people PM me/contact me. I have been supporting the users here for many years without needing my inbox filling up with PM's. I'd prefer that route is used ONLY if it is a specific, personal customer care issue that is not being resolved and might be better brought to Korg's attention privately.
OK?
Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate - I'm back to a few days off with my family. I'll be back on Monday.
regards,
Jerry
