Hi Alan,

you have to differentiate between Hard and Software.

Hardware is 2.52 (there is no version 3.x)
Software is 3.02 (you can download in our customer download center)

hope that helps

I've lowered the price of my XMS1-Golden Entertainer board to $325 FIRM. This is the newer version. Please send me a PM if you are interested.

Golden Entertainer

Post by Charley Brown »

Thank you Steve.

It is no secret that my wife bought the XMS1 for me for Christmas. She's a wonderful woman. Thanks for the prompt delivery. I'm very exited but she won't let me have it until Christmas.

In the mean time I hope Wittid can share some wisdom and advice.

In the past Wittid has said that the OS and the BPK ?? would totally change the Key Board. What does that mean? Does that mean all of the factory Sounds and Styles will be replaced?

I've spent the past year creating arrangements and songs based on the factory Sounds and Styles and would really hate to lose them and be forced to start out all over.

I need to have access to what I've already achieved.

Wittid could you please share knowlege and advice on this issue.

Thanks ~ Charley Brown

Hi Charley Brown

If you find that the expansion board makes too many changes to your setups and you would rather not keep it, let me know. I could definitely like a late Christmas present, should you decide to sell it.

Your welcome and you will enjoy this board. I am pretty sure the directions tell you how to save your styles, songbook, etc. Detlef could probably explain more on how to do this.

XMS1- Golden Entertainer

Post by Charley Brown »

Hello Wittid:

Thanks for sharing some basics that many knowlegable people probably take for granted. Your communication is logical and at an easy to understand level.

Also I would like everyone in the forum to know that despite the fact that Diane did not purchase the Golden Entertainer thru Wittid he has offered valuable help with instulation, set up and trouble shooting.

Wittid , Thank you for your help so far! I'm sure I'll need more after Christmas.
