We found a workaround for this as explained but they working on checking
why is this happening and probably a fix.
While in this page i know Paolo and Jerry will read this, its about another thing:
Loading a single PCG which is consisted of a RAM KMP, made from Sample,
it tkes very long to LOAD, sometimes it hangs for hours, takes longer then
a whole set of Samples to be LOADed, it is not about one KMP so i can send
it to you but its about any single PCG with KMP from any set.
Few users confirmed the same thing.
Thanks

Hi,
It seems that Drum Kits created with Pa2X 1.11 or Pa800 1.60 CAN be read effortlessly by OS 2.0 witih no problems.
On the contrary, Drum Kits created on a Pa80 (only using Factory Drum Samples), and never edited and saved with a Pa1X/Pa2X/Pa800, can cause problems when loaded on Pa2X/Pa800 OS 2.0.
As an immediate workaround to solve this problem, you can do as following:
1) Load these Drum Kits on Pa2X with OS 1.11, or Pa800 with OS 1.60*.
2) Access SOUND EDIT mode with the first of these Drum Kits selected.
3) Choose from the page menu the Write Sound command.
4) Repeat the above procedure for all subsequent Drum Kits.
5) Install OS 2.0, and reload all Drum Kits.
While we understand how this might happen, we have still to fully understand why this is happening. We will have a definitive solution later.
Best regards,
Paolo

I WAS EXPECTING KORG 0S 2.0 TO BRING SEXY BACK!
NOW WHAT HAS IT CAUSED?
ALL OF MY DK FILES DO NOT WORK ON 0S 2.0
NOW I HAVE TO LOAD 1.60, RE-SAVE EACH DK 1 BY 1, SAVE THE WHOLE SET, AND LOAD BACK 2.0!
DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY DK'S I HAVE? DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY SETS I HAVE? A TON!!!!!!!!
I'M FRUSTRATED!
KORG FIX THIS SITUATION ASAP OR ELSE BUSSINES WILL GO DOWN!
IT'S HAPPENING TO EVERYONE.

I think Korg have responded well to this issue. Thank you.
It is quite reasonable - especially if only on a temporary basis - to expect a customer performing an OS upgrade to make sure that all customer data is saved by the customer in the native format used by the preceding version of the OS. It's good practice anyway for us users to always resave data after it has been converted from one format to another, because it will improve load times in future.
I know that the issue of incompatibility of directly importing Pa80 format DK files remains at present unresolved. However Paolo Tramanoni has promised that Korg will resolve that matter as well. So we know the issue is not being ignored. I think we must just be patient now. Further antagonistic comments on this matter would not improve relationships or speed up the development of a solution.
Best regards,
Rob

The point, sexykorgpa800, I was making was:-
So what is it that you actually want Korg to do now short of sending every "DK-suffering" member a crate of top Italian wine?
Korg knows, Korg is working on it, they care, they listened, they responded, they acted !!!! .....Paolo wrote:While we understand how this might happen, we have still to fully understand why this is happening. We will have a definitive solution later.
It is known as a "work around" - a temporary way to sort it out whilst it is being fixed properly...sexykorgpa800 wrote:WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING TO GO THROUGH ALL OF THAT?
So how do you think they will fix it without an update??sexykorgpa800 wrote:THERE WILL BE NO WAY THAT THIS WILL BE FIXED, UNLESS KORG DOES ANOTHER UPDATE.

Pete,
Just wanted to say thank you for keeping this forum somewhat sane these days. It must be an ungrateful job to be moderator here right now. I hope that we will soon get back to good old days when this was always a pleasent place to visit.
I think that Korg has done a very good job with the OS 2.0 release. OK, a few bugs have slipped their quality control, but this is to be expected with a software release as big as this one. And Korg have been very quick to provide temporary solutions until the problems are fixed.
Kind regards,
Tommy
