Saving global settings

Post by trevorjohn »

I acquired a PA800 just before OS 2 came out after having been a Technics and Yamaha user for many years and am now having some annoying problems since loading OS 2.

I use a slightly different split point to default and Expert fingering. I also want to set the 2 switches to different functions. Before OS2 I had no trouble with the first two. At switch-on the board had my individual settings OK but now every time I switch on everything has reverted to default. I have carefully done everything as detailed in the manuals.at least to my reading of them, but to no avail.. Everything I have set up just disappears into cyberspace.

I am trying to use the PA800 for all of my pre-Christmas gigs but it is
very annoying having to re-set everything each time I boot up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,
Trevor
