Midi Pro's?

Midi Pro's?
Ok so I have my Mpc2500 and the M3 hooked up via midi (handshake) all connected to my mbox2. I use my Mpc as a sequencer so in track 1 of the Mpc I lay down the first 8bar piano loop (midi-1a). Now how do I lay down other sound because when i try it changes the sound of the first sound that i recorded (piano)??
