Small howtos?

Hi all,

Got my EMX about a month ago and am having an absolute blast with with, a couple things I haven't figured out

1) Is there a "Copy Motion" feature? I often layer a few synths together, making one part (the low) that has some recorded motion, then copying it to another and tweaking it to be a mid, then again to make a high. If I decide I want to re-record the motion, i'd like just clear motion from part 1, re-record, the copy motion to the other 2.

2) How do I view saved knob values? Occasionally I forget how I made a certain sound, usually I just go into Part Edit, turn the knob in question until it's back sounding like the saved version, but can I just hit a button somewhere and have it display what the saved value is?

1) No there isn't. But you could try copying the whole part, then remove the notes which should leave the motion data, then write in your new notes- different part, same motion sequence?
2) when you turn the knob you will see the word 'original' which tells you the parameter settings before you started changing them-(you have to turn it). An easier way would be to have a few unused patterns where you could 'keep' favorite sounds ready for using 'copy sound'
