yes the DNC is very impressive and expressive. I completely forgot about the ability to EQ each individual track. I have not yet heard one user demo of the use of guitar mode but i have heard it at Korg De and i felt it sounded a little too mechanical for my purposes. Other than the Korg pa demos of the DNC sounds that really sound terrific i have yet to hear anyone produce anything on the PA800 or PA2X that sounds even remotely better than what i have heard from the PA1X.

Hi worth

I can understand your statement. I too loved my PA1XPro. However, I remember all those members crying out for "EQ" and I could not understand why - until now that I have it. Now that OS2.0 has emerged, I think the two keyboards are much further apart. BUT I still standby the PA1XPro as an outstanding machine. I possibly would have kept mine but the timing was just right for me to upgrade - I was skeptical at first and thought that I might be buying the same keyboard with a few extras. The extras have grown beyond my expectations and so I am comfortable with the change. I couldn't wait any longer for the Audya - I am beginning to think it is a big tease  and Tyros does nothing for me in comparison to the Korg PA2XPro.

Fortunately, none of the current issues have affected me as yet but I don't believe that there are anymore issues than there were in the early PA1X days.

If you love it, keep it and enjoy it. (I still wish I had kept my i30!!)

Take care

How about the Roland G-70... does anyone have experience from that one?
