Hi folks. I am trying to route different loops into my outboard mixer and coming into a problem.
I basically want to use L/R and 3/4 as 4 single mono outputs and then take them to my mixer. Parts coming through 3 and 4 I pan hard left or hard right to go to either channel 3 or 4 on the mixer. This is fine, but one channels L/R panning does not seem to work. If I pan hard left there is leaking on the right channel, and if I pan hard right the left channel still plays.
Am I doing anything wrong? do I need to change anything?
thanks.
Chris

You're doing nothing wrong, I'm afraid it could be a problem with your unit itself.
The strange thing is that you pan hard right and the left channel still plays?!
I'm guessing it could be a problem with the routing to the tubes or the tubes itself because output 3&4 work normal and they are not processed thru the tubes.
Hope this makes sense
How is your stereo balance on output 1-2? Right in the centre or more to the left?

the left channel on my ESX leaks over into the right channel when i pan hard left. The left also seems to be always louder by 1 to 2 decibels no matter what i play.
.....Never noticed this before, than again i didnt have a DBX compressor hooked up to my ESX like i do now. Either its my compressor setting or some faulty RCA's.
Hopefully its my RCA's.
