Hey
there's these two things i wanna do, Can you help me?
first, theres this percusion like drum in the back of these songs.

its like an echo or something. You can hear in the background. any ideas on what it is? is it in a drumkit i have?

I got no idea what drum kits you have. That having been said it is a simple kick single notes on the beat with the snare on the 2 and 4. There are arps in the background, one is a synth arp that is programmed to certain notes and the other has a marimba like sound that is also programmed to specific notes.

The latter also has a pulsating synth on the main beat to thicken the sound of the kick (as well as serve as synth bass) that is arped as well. I hear no echo per se, but I do hear lowered arp notes.
