Live performances

I use the korg legacy for live vst performances, however each time I am opening a song my sequencer software sometimes takes up to a minuite or more to load all the tracks. This can be a pain for live performances

I tried working around by saving my songs in MP3 or WMA formats so that they load faster when opened by Windows Media Player; however,
when Windows Media Player is running I cannot get any response from my korg legacy collection when used as a stand alone for providing backup . In other words WMP and Korg Lagacy cannot work at the same time I will not hear any sound from one of them. This happens only when I select ASIO Drivers. If I select another driver such as direct sound then
I won have this issue, but I will have latency/buggy issues.
How do you suggest working around?
