The big O shines again...

Post by Pr0 »

I've just had this extensive performance at my local church (Assembly of God - Coimbra - Portugal) in our anual Christmas Celebration. 9 songs, re-orchestrated, part live (me in the Oasys), part sequenced (Oasys), part live drums (Roland VA-drums), part live bass... huge success!... A total new musical experience. I've had compliments I never thought I'd receive...
I just though I shoud share this with all of you.
To God be the glory and a big thanx for the big O!

P.S.: I'm proud to belong to the big O's family. Merry christmas guys!

I wish our church band had an Oasys, instead of acoustic drums and a slightly detuned piano

Peace be with you!

Actually the Oasys is mine, ;) but I only use it in church activities.
God bless you.

Me too. I heard that Sam Ash had radically dropped the price of the Oasys (called to confirm that it was true), but even at the lower price it was out of the church budget.

Yeah, my church got a Yamaha S90 ES which took 6 years to get, by which time 2 keyboardists had the Oasys and another a Roland RD-700gx. I reckon if you're called to do that kind of thing then the onus is on you to get your own gear, let the church spend their money on sound equipment worthy of putting your Oasys through 8)

(after all there's more than enough social justice programs to put T&O towards)
