USB-MIDI Windows Vista
I have a notebook with OS Windows Vista and KORG PA2x. But there is no communication Notebook and PA2x USB-midi.
I download the drivers USB-midi (KORG_UBS-MIDI_Driver_Win_v.1.11.zip) but in doesn't work.
Can anyone tell me how can I repare this problem?

Hi
You have got a music programe installed on your laptop, have you?
If you have then open the prog and make sure the usb drivers are enabled.
If you haven.t got a music prog installed, what are you expecting from the link up?
Best wishes

Hi czarnanuta
This also bugged me in the beggining. Then i figured it out.
Once you download and install the korg driver, its not over yet. You then have to turn on the machine, connect it to the PC via USB and THEN, you go to Start menu/Korg/Korg USB-MIDI Driver Tools/
There is another thing there called Install Korg USB-MIDI Device
Click it and follow the prompts, and that will enable your machine on the PC youre using. Try that.
Edit-
I also forgot to mention, on my system i am using Cakewalk Music Creator 4 and Sony Acid Music Studio 7. If i turn on my Pa2x while any of these programs are running, they are not going to pick up its MIDI straight away. I have to then restart each program i want to use, in order for them to pick up the pa2x-usb-midi in/out ports. I am not sure if this is the case with any other audio/music application.
