key sensitivity really wierd issue
hi guys, i have a triton extreme 61 keys, and my second key is not functioning well, for example if i hit the same key 3 or 4 times in fast motion, it will skip couple of hits is this problem fixable? the rest of the keys work fine its only that 2nd key!! if i hit it once its normal but more than one time in fast motion it will skip.
Sounds like something might have gone under the key and it needs to be cleaned out.

Are you maybe hitting the keys faster than the Triton Extreme can respond? I've got a TR-61 and Nord Stage, and when I do a one-note trill (I use my thumb and index finger turned sideways to hit the note really quickly), I found that more notes sound on the Nord Stage than on the TR-61. Maybe you're running into a similar problem?
Hmmm.
Could be that the Rubber Strip is somehow defective and not returning to it's default shape quick enough after you press a key. I think you should give KORG a shout on the phone for this one. It's sounds like this could be a quick fix and they will know enough about the keybed design to answer you straight off.

thanks a lot guyz, i was just afraid that this is a mainboard problem or somethin, the thing is, on combi mode for example the piano, when i play that key and compare it to the next key its lower in volume, less sensitive. i mean i have to hit the key harder than the other keys to get it to sound like the same volume as the rest of the keys, but in program mode i dont have this problem but the skiping is there on both program and combi!! you think its fixable?
