New user, 1st post.
Z8 Firmware v1.6,
Win XP 32, Qosmio F-20, 2GB Mem,

I love this thing, sound prob a non issue with proper volume controling, Traktor scratch v1.01 works great 44.1 @ 2.5 ms, FX mini kaos style display is killer and I normally don't bother with FX but this makes it fun, works great with DJDecks as well.

Traktor works on channels 1 and 2 just fine (phono in/and sound out with setting the channel select on Audio) was running the audio out to channel 4 and 5 when I didn't need to at the begining. Let me stress this, 2 traktor records and laptop and this mixer is all you need to dj, this isn't clear when you try to find out on various forums(just another addition for searchers).

Zero8 isn't big as it once seemed, having trouble thinking of settling for the Zero4 now, I may keep this. Looks great and can play in the dark, LEDs are a bit bright if you stare to long, I get eye ball burn in.

I'll eventually be useing/testing it with Cubase SX 3, maybe Logic on OSX 10.5.6. Just figured out how to route to Wavelab to record DJmixes if I ever get around to it.

This thing is basically retired my Pioneer DJM-300, M-Audio Firewire Audiofile, Soundcradt Folio Notepad mixboard.

Are there any advantages of the Z4 over the Z8?

Thats all I can think of right now......
