microKORG Laptop

Hello guys, Ia\m new to the forum and i have a quiestion. Please forgive me if this has already been answered. I own an HP pavilion and I wanted to hook up my Korg to the laptop using the program "fruity loops" does anyone know how to do this??

You need either a USB or Firewire audio interface. If you only wish to trigger loops and other software synths you can purchase a midi only device.. something like the The E-MU Xmidi 1x1.

If you want to record live audio from the microkorg onto your laptop you will need a device that has 1/4 inch inputs in addition to midi...something like the maudio firewire 410....

however I am having another issue with that at the moment (see sticky in this forum) but there are many alternatives.
