Zero disconnecting???

Post by Jarred Cassidy »

Reguraly when using the zero 8 with cubase or Live 7 it seems the fire wire stops sending signals and releases a high pitched sound.. everything has to be shut down then...

Is there anyway of preventing this???? im afraid to take this thing out on the live circuit

I have this problem too, and I really don't want to have to send my Korg back!

I tried it with a different firewire cable last night, and it seemed better, I'll give it another run tonight, and if there's still any problems I'm phoning Korg.

Not sure if this will help

I was having the same problem with my zero 4.

I disabled my dvd drive and my Ethernet hardware in my laptop, this helped a bit but I was was still having problems.

I have a small 4 pin fire wire plug and the slightest wiggle would kill the audio and give me that hi pitched noise.

This is my solution (see link below)
