PADKONTROL power/DC issue...please help

Post by Islander »

I got a Padkontrol which I can use perfectly with my Mac. Powering through the USB is okay but when I try to plug in my adapter it does not power up. I'm using a 9V 150 mA as mentioned in the Korg website but the lid blinks and it does not function as if there is not enough power.

Can some PLEASE let me know what's happening.

Thanks.

Did you doublecheck the polarity?

The minus has to be inside, the plus outside...

I never tried mine with an adaptor, since I only use it in conjunction with my MacBook Pro...

Hi sawatzki,

I've tried changing the polarity but it's not helping. Actually I've used another adapter which was 9V 300mA in Asia and it worked fine. After I came to US I changed my power adapter because of the difference of AC voltage and plug. As mentioned in padKontrol I bought a 9V 150mA and its not working anymore, the LCD blinks. With the USB it works.

Thanks for your contribution.
