So I've been using Zero8 for like two months (djing and liveact with rock band). This is what happened:

What you can see here? First I started record on left turntable connected to phono1 input, and switched all channels to phono1, then I did the same thing right turntable connected to phono2, and at the end the same thing with mic1. As you can see there is no singnal at all on channels 5 and 6. There is also no signal from Line 5 and 6, and Line/CD 5 and 6. Like both channels were completly down. Firewire audio does not work in Audio and Audio+MIDI modes for those channels. Signal flows in Full MIDI mode when sent to inputs 9/10 (ch5) or 11/12 (ch6), but leds are not flashing and fader is not sending MIDI. However every control other than these two line faders sends MIDI, including knobs in EQ and send sections of channels 5 and 6.
I've restored factory settings. Problem was not solved. I've installed 1.6 firmware again. Still not solved. I'm getting it ready to ship back for repair.
Or maybe any sugesstions?
All the best,
Mark.

Thanks! That's actually a very useful tip. In fact this morning I sent back Zero8 for repair, but I'll keep that hint in mind, in case of any further problems.Mr. Bit wrote:OK, you can try a flash reset.
-> hold CUE 7 + CUE 8 Buttons and start your Z8.
Before sending it back, I've tried to downgrade software to 1.5 and then upgrade it back to 1.6. In both cases I got "*" next to version number and problem was not solved. It might be some hardware issue.
Thanks for all your help!
All the best,
Mark.
