miden wrote:I might refresh you memory that I went out of my way to help you a week or so ago, spent a couple of hours tracking down information for you, and all you did was imply that I didn't really have the information in the first place (almost like you accused me of making it up, WHY i would do that is beyond this schizoid person))...You didn't get the result YOU wanted so you then totally dissed the thread.
All my replies (and also your posts on that thread) were friendly and appreciative, there is nothing contradictory or indicating that any "disagreement" had arisen from either of us. I provided additional information that I had received from Korg Italy, you provided different ionformation that you had received from Korg Australia. That did not mean there was any disagreement between us going on. Like I said on that thread I asked Korg Italy to speak to Korg Australia about it, and I haven't yet heard anything back. The only result I wanted was to have sufficient factual informaion to pass on to Korg Italy. So this is the first I knew that you were harbouring ill-feelings and were looking for an opportunity to vent steam in my direction.

However, I am justifiably "pissed off" and extremely surprised by the attack you launched against me in public and on this completely unrelated thread, which was without any forewarning. So - many congratulations Dennis, you have won the prize for converting someone who looked upon you as a friend into someone who at best is indifferent towards you. And yes, I eventually get angry and I retaliate and defend myself when attacked in public, like anyone else. I just have a higher rated fuse and provide more advance warning than you, evidently.

My apologies to everyone else for this public row created out of nothing by Dennis. An apology from Dennis to me will close the matter.

If anyone else has a problem with me, and I'm not aware of it, just send me a PM or email and we will sort it out behind the scenes. Just don't go launching attacks in public?

Thanks,
Rob

Hey Rob & Dennis

Hope you guys can sort this out and put out the fire.
Both you guys are invaluable to these Forums - I would hate to see you battle on.

This is not a lecture, just a genuine wish from someone that respects you both.....

Thanks Pete. It's all Nedim's fault. If he hadn't developed all these new fangled styles and asked for comments ...

Rob,

You are correct, and your thoughts on the styles were just as valid as mine, even if diametrically opposed.

I should not have written any response, and particularly whilst in a state of annoyance with you on other matters.

For that you have my apology.

Dennis,

Apology accepted, thank you.

Please believe me that if I had read your review I would not have immediately posted a message opposed to it. To do so deliberately and immediately would be crass. Once again I assure you that we posted our opposite view simultaneously and coincidentally, it just happened that yours went in while I was pressing the send button on mine. They say that great minds think alike. In our case they obviously think differently, but that's Ok as well.

For my retailatory remarks, you have my apology. I'm still unsure how I managed to upset you elsewhere. But if you would like to explain this in private then I will see if I can make amends on that as well.

Regards,
Rob

Thanks for your understanding Rob. And I accept your apology as well, although as far as I am concerned, none was needed from you as I was at fault.

It is appreciated nonetheless. :)

I will avail myself of the offer to talk with you in private. But it will have to be later today, as I have a roof to paint. Yay!! ..... (NOT)

All the best,
Dennis

(just had to change some wording, after a re-read, it didn't sound right)

Dennis, i am still wondering, did you finish the roof painting or you fell off of it?

LOL Nedim, as it turned out I did actually fall off...No lasting damage as it was only a 3 metre fall, but scary nonetheless. Thanks for your thoughts :)

Yes it is finished, in between bouts of rain!!! Moving on with the rest of the house renovation now. Always good to start at the top.

By the way m8, I suggest you don't worry too much about the stuff being said over at the "other" place.
I think sometimes those guys have nothing better to do LOL.

For people who profess to be working (gigging) so much they sure as hell have a lot of time to write a whole lot of crap sometimes.

Stay well
Dennis

Hi Dennis,

Sorry to hear you had a fall while working on your house. I'm glad there is no serious injury, but a 3 metre fall is pretty scary. We've had some scares here while working on the Villa but no serious injuries yet thank goodness.

Best regards,
Rob

No scratch, no injuries, just my back at the time...the hospital staff was amazed.
