please help-zero 4 giving problems!!!!

Post by driverdj2000 »

hi all,
i seem to be having a problem with my zero4,when turning the LO eq knob to take bass in and out im getting a kind of rumble noise through the audio.and at the middle point where the knob centres its making a popping sound through the audio.not too loud but noticable.this is heard through master, cue and headphones of all 4 channels.even if i turn off the music and turn up the gain i an hear a pop when moving the lo eq knob back and forth over the 12 o clock position,i am sure it never done this before.
i use the eq selector in ZERO Q all the time as this is a standard sound but its making the same noises in slamming.round q,hyped and boost, its not as noticable in the filter modes.
ive tried every setting on it but no joy.
i only have the mixer 9 months and dont use it very often so i find it strange that there is an issue already with it.
This happened suddenly while i was playing music at home so it seems something went wrong for no apparent reason
hopefully someone can shed some light on the problem

no it dosent, only in round q,zero eq,hyped and boost, not in the isolater and filters.
ive been fiddling with it since and it dosent seem as bad i i first thought,i dont think theres anything wrong with it,it maybe that its a digital mixer and the eq sounds a bit different to my djm 600,
whats happening is when u take the bass in and out of a track in zero eq mode (say the breakdown of a trance track where its just synths and no drums) turning the Lo eq knob from kill to 12 o clock fairly rapidly there is an odd feedback sound that shouldnt be there, kinda like a rumbling, its a minor issue but not normal,i just noticed it fiddling about, try it and see what u get. i mailed korg on the issue 10 days ago and they never bothered gettin back to me, wish i waited and got an evo4 to b honest
