Hello I'm a neebie to this forum...I could use some help with my Padkontrol
installation..I get the error=transmit global fail device inquiry and "Padkontrol 1 Port A in and padkontrol 1 CRTL are not showing in the
editor prefs or in Ableton 7 preferences.
It popped up for a second after updating USB drivers, then disappeared. I've updated the USB driver and installed the newest editor from Korg..no happenings though.
Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.
Padkontrol 1 port A missing......any advice?

hello,
i supose that you are using windows. well, if the ports are not listed than the driver is not instaled right. also you should know that you have to instal korg midi device for each usb phisical port or don't change the usb, always use the same.
plug in the padkontrol, than install the driver for that connection.
you can find the details in the manual.
