Esx right channel not working...WTF????
Ok so I bought an Esx-1 a month ago and the last couple of times I tried to use it, the right channel has been absent. It tried a couple of things like using the headphone output and trying a different cord. Still though I can't diagnose this thing. I'm not sure if one of the tubes is out and that would cause the output to be messed up or what. Anyone have this problem or know what it might be? I tried seeing if I had some master pan on, but the only thing I see that does that is the pan knob on the part common section.
well yesterday i bought a DBX compressor. I hooked everything up into the DBX into my preamp and than back into the amp.
So now ive got a compressor processing everything i do on the ESX.
So i was playing a few patterns from the ESX and reading my preamps DB level meters. The Right channel on the esx seems to be atleast 1 to 2 decibels lower in volume compared to the left channel!
Never noticed this before, but than again i never really bothered to check.
So i took a snare sound and tested it, I panned hard left and got a good loud read out with some bleeding on the right channel....which makes me ask is channel bleeding normal on the ESX's pan, again i never noticed that before. I also panned hard right, and i noticed like before that the signal/snare sound is atleast 1 to 2 decibels lower in volume than the left channel.
Man.....the fun just doesnt end with this machine
So now im gonna check all my connections and cables just to make sure everythings hooked up properly and im gonna see if i can rule out any channel volume problems.
Hopefully its just one of my RCA's.
