My R3 has broken. I have no idea why. My only guess is that it could be the power input on the back, it's been loose for quite some time now. I doubt the actual power block is the problem, since I can't see that breaking.
My R3 worked just fine a couple of days ago, but today I picked it up and plugged it in and it wouldn't turn on. I've treated this thing like a f*ck*ng baby and now it won't turn on. Now I'm going to lose days worth of programs and they probably won't fix it because companies like to do that.
Has anyone here ever dealt with the Korg warranty or possibly know anything I can do?

I spoke to korg support a few days ago about returning my R3 to get the tempo sync issue fixed. Guy i spoke to was really helpful; even though my r3 isn't officially under warranty any more (due to sound control closing) they will fix it. They even offered to cover the cost of shipping.
Give them a call, best thing you can do. If your still covered by the warranty all you have to do is take back to where you bought or your local korg dealer and they should take care of returning it to korg but check on shpping. Oh and you'll need your receipt.

Probably fix it but you can back your patterns up with the editor/librarian anyway. I'd back mine up regardless. They might reset it anyway for testing purposes. Back up your patches!
