NanoKontrol jumping values

Post by mapmap »

Hey there,
i picked up a nanoKontrol a few weeks ago and am loving it. My only real issue is that the faders/knobs always jump values when using them after switching scenes. it's pretty much made the option of having four pages of controls useless because i can only reliably use one at a time.

has anyone else encountered this?... and what have you done to get around it/fix it?
thanks.

oh, i am using Live 7 on osX if that helps any.

Hi, I can imagine how annoying that is, if your not using the nano through bomes you may be able to use the pickup or scaling function from the takeover option within Live 7's preferences, Just head to the MIdi Sync tab and experiment with the options....

Simply put when you move say slider 1 in bank 1 then move to banki two and move slider 1 to a different position, when you return to bank 1 at a later point the actual control within ableton will not respond to any midi control until the fader has been returned to the point at which is was before you switched scenes....

Let me know how you get on!

Cheers

Hey D,
the pickup takeover feature in Live works great for all of my other midi controllers... the nano is the only one thing i own that is somehow resistant to that option. :?
does it work for you? I wonder if this is this something that Korg can fix with firmware?

any help would be much appreciated.

You are not alone! lol.

I'm going to be a pain in the butt and start my own thread on this issue as well. :D
