How Do you Feel About the Esx-1 being so Mono Oriented?

what's the concensus on this, I'm used to doing work arounds with this and that like resampling since there aren't that many sample slots but the lack of stereo is a bit annoying isn't it?

lack of stereo? you mean lack of polyphony for sure... never bothered me, if you need chords, just multitrack in your DAW and import it as a sample...

lack of stereo? check out the Modulation section on the right, and set the destination to "pan". There's lots of stereo on the ESX. Maybe you were thinking poly, as Trondc mentioned?

yeah I guess you meant monophonic?

Well, I guess we all have to live with it. There are a lot of threads about complaints about the limitations of boxes out there (even in like the MPC5000) and most of the time, users really would just have to make do with it and find workarounds and possibly make the most out of the limitation of the box. We can always look for people to chime in on I'm-annoyed-at-my-box threads but in the end, that's what they have... limitations. And it gets futile in the end discussing about what it can't do rather than discuss what it CAN do and stretch it :D
