Is it possible to use an expression pedal to control wah? To make it like a regular wah pedal? I have been messing with it a bit but cant figure it out...
I've got a roland expression pedal plugged into my radias. I have it mapped to mimic the mod wheel.
If you are using the wah effect as an insert set the control from automatic to manual and then set the control source to whatever you have the expression pedal assigned to. This is all done in the effect settings.
If you've already used all of your effects, you can just set it to control the filter with the mod matrix.
Both methods work great and it feels just like using a real wah pedal.
Another fun thing is if you're using a sync patch, set the pedal to make osc2 go up an octave. Then you can play it like it's a wah, but it has a different type of sound.
