Thankyou Korg.
I am sure everybody here would like to say we knew you would not let us down in the end!!
I would also like to repeat what I have said previously. This IS the year for the Oasys. (Spoke to quickly )

Thank you Korg!!
I just downloaded, and I see lots of new EP:s in there, can't wait to try them out!
And what's interesting: the PDF says this is the HD-1 XPansion Sounds Vol. 1.
Looking forward to the other volumes a bit further down the road!
Again, great work Korg!

After a quick listen: GREAT new sounds! The EP:s alone are stunning. I am so thrilled about this! Mmm, another long series of sleepless nights.
But one thing makes me a bit curious: why so many new brass programs?.. I mean, as we already have the EXs 3 which relies on a much larger waveform base than the ones in HD1 XP2. Having said that, a few of the new brass programs really caught my ear.
Anyway, this really made my day! Or rather, month...
(Yamaha have literally been pouring free sample expansions over their Motif XS line of synths for the past few months, and I was a bit jelaous... Not so much anymore!!)
Great to see new developement for the Oasys.

Congratulations, and thanks, Korg! The amazing journey continues...
Boy some of us who mouthed off during NAMM have egg on our faces now (well at least I feel I have!!).
New, professionally developed programs, especially harnessing OASYS's keyboard and pianos multisamples, is a hugely valuable addition to our arsenal. Really looking forward to using these.

Yes, yes and yes!!Kevin Nolan wrote:New, professionally developed programs is a hugely valuable addition to our arsenal.
New programs from Korg are as great a value as new EXi:s. And, of course, cheaper to develop. Keep those new programs coming!!

I think we'll see a series of new sounds coming our way in the near future, and maybe not only for the HD-1, but hopefully also for the other EXi:s. (I'd love to see a fresh new AL-1 set..)

LOL!!! Curve is already asking for more sounds! Man, I love his enthusiasm.
Korg Team: Nice work. Right now...and since the day I bought it, my Oasys is the centerpiece of my studio. Almost two years ago I had the 76 key Gen 3 (or 4- I can't remember now) Open Labs Neko on order. At that time the company was way behind and backorders were filling up and falling further behind. I had the good fortune of having guys at Open Labs and Musicians Friend lie to me and shift blame to one another and lose my order information and move my ship date from one date to the next date and on and on and on and on. My order arrived at the store and then it didn't. It was there and then it was mysteriously gone. It appeared on paper and disappeared again. I swore to myself I would never do business with Open Labs after they gave me the run around and misled and lied to me on more than one occassion. Remember, I said I had the good fortune to have all this b.s. happen. I had decided to buy the Neko over the Oasys by a very slim margin after a lot of weeks of homework and weighing "it" all out. Fortunately for me, none of these incompetent lying douche bags couldn't get there feces consolidated (sh!+ together) and that caused me to cancel my order and do what i SHOULD HAVE done in the first place. Buy from Korg!!! From a product feature and quality standpoint I have NEVER been disappointed by Korg. I STILL use my Wavestation A/D and 01/W pro.
My Oasys was capable of doing what I needed it to do right out of the box. All of the updates and new proggies were just thicker icing on my iced cake. I am SOOOOooooooo glad my Open Labs order fell through. Needless to say, I am a very greatful Oasys owner and the Korg Team deserves a big pat on the for their support and hard work. If I ever sounded like a grumbling little beotch about "not enough performance oriented sounds" then I shoulda been smacked in the chops! LOL.
Now on a more serious note: Curvebender, I am going to return to korguser.net right now to see if VOL. 2 has been posted yet...hehehe.
Every1, enjoy the new sounds! There are no disappointments in this release. Once again, Korg guys and gals have demonstrated their sound programming prowess. And their committment to this group, I might add.
Best regards all,

Ucandream,
Well, I actually choked on my own words when I discovered that the Oasys has been discontinued, see this post:
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=42501
Still, it doesn't have to mean that we won't see future support for the Oasys.

UGH!!!!!
I am speachless... even though this is the eventuality of every piece of gear. Makes me sad anyways.
Boy, there's nothing like being on the Oasys emotional roller coaster ride.
I'm gonna go ahead and start dismantling my Oasys piece by piece and take it out to the trash a few components at a time. I think I will throw away the touch screen last...because I can see my reflection in it and it makes me feel like I am throwing away a part of myself.
Goodbye Mighty Oasys.
Farewell friends.

With regards to the OASYS being listed as discontinued, I'm not going to wish my life away on the hope that one last OS update comes, so I'm just going to keep on making the most of what I have right now.
Regards.
Sharp.
