Korg padkontrol octave problem

Post by mustonen »

Hi, i just bought a korg padkontrol and i am having a problem with it :(
when i program a pad to say like C2 it sends the note to my musicsoftwares (reason, ableton live, jeskola buzz etc) one octave lower (in this case C1). I have tried reinstalling my kp alot of times and the software 4 it but it doesnt help.
Anyone who has this problem and maybe a solution?

Hello,

I may be wrong but I think this is just a quirk with the PadKontrol.

This has come up before. There's been a suggestion that some plugins might be mislabelled (they call a C4 a C3 or the other way around).

Really, all that matters is that you're getting the pitch that you want.
Keyboard Rig: Korg Kronos, Moog Sub 37, Waldorf Blofeld Module, Neo Instruments Ventilator II, Moog MiniFooger Delay, Strymon BigSky, Roland KC-150, Mackie 802-VLZ4 Mixer
