dulcimer (cymbal sound)

Hi everyone

I am looking for any samples of dulcimer (cymbal). I can´t find any good sample and PA2X hasn´t so good sound.

I thought dulcimer and cymbal were completely two different instruments.

WOW, that's a massive instrument. Persian's have something close to this, but not as big. They call it Santur. I'll see if there's anything on youtube on this Dulcimer.

Actually, they come in all kind of sizes and shapes and the number of strings varies. Some are tunned for specific ethnic scales as well. I'm no expert in the ethnic instruments field by any means. Just an overall knowledge that i've picked up along the way here and there..nothing solid

The name "Santur" means one hundred strings in Persian :-)
