Hey guys, sorry if this problem has been posted before. Maybe you can direct me to the post if it has. But a weird thing is happening to my EMX. With all the volume levels set to zero, I could still hear small amount of music through my headphones. Also, at regular volume, sometimes when the song is playing, the volume would cut off in my left headphone, and then come back on again if I twiddle the master volume knob. And then if I touch the yellow light-up interface screen, the volume would drop in my left ear again. Do I just need new tubes? The ones I have are stock tubes. Has anyone encountered this? Thanks.

i would blame the headphones before the Electribe. try different pairs, or some actual speakers to be sure, at least as far as the "cutting in and out thing" goes. the volume bleed issue could possibly be the tubes.

Finally fixed the problem. Here's what you can do if you're running into similar issues and a) your warranty has expired, or b) you bought your EMX second-hand. But I take no responsibility if you permanently damage your EMX through this procedure. Do this at your own risk.
After many, many months of minor frustration, and changing both tubes, I decided to muster up enough boldness to take apart my EMX. I first removed the top cover, the blue shell, and then proceeded to remove the second layer. It took me a couple hours because I didn't have the right tools handy. I'm sure if you had the right tools, it would take less than that.
Anyway, I finally lifted the circuit board off just a little and re-adjusted the master volume knob while listening into my headphone until I began to hear sound coming into both earphones. All I did was pull up and down on the "Master Volume" knob until I heard signal coming into the right ear on my headphones. Everything was put back together again and the EMX works fine now. That was one weird a weird glitch.
