Can I re-route knobs to leave local sound alone?

I would like to use the MicroKORG knobs to send messages to a MIDI host. At the same time I want to use the host to play sounds on the microKORG using midi. Simple! - The only problem is that when I turn the knobs to control the host the sound changes on the microKORG. Is it possible to disable them locally?
