Thank you for all the replies so far. So far no luck.
Wings, as for your suggestions, yes I have tried your suggestion (instead of pressing Enter, I have pressed Intro In/Out or Intro1) but my buttons do not seem to have any functionality after I turn the keyboard on. In the link below you can see exactly what my problem is:

Notice how towards the end all the buttons are frozen and no lights are turned on on any of the buttons.
Also in the video I try the Intro1, Fade In/Out, and Disk+style play tricks. No luck in any case

That was a great idea. I tried my floppy on two different computers and in both computers the disk read fine and all the 3 OS files were in the floppy. However, I could not get the OS to start loading on my keyboardadimatis wrote:look, it might be useless, but you should try to see if your floppy drive unit is ok. i remember a time when mine was writing just fine, even read disks, but no other floppy drive was able to even recognize the floppy disks writen with it.
it is worth checking this again.
LE: just to make sure, i am talking about computer's floppy drive.

So at this point, I am 100% convinced that my OS floppy disks that i have been using have all been fine. I am leaning more towards the hardware/inside problem now.

First of all; a super idea to film your procedure so we can see what you are doing.Korgfan123 wrote:Thank you for all the replies so far. So far no luck.

Second; I saw that on your first attempt the screen said; load Os from disk? and you pressed "Enter" and nothing happened.
But please for your own sake, forget about "Enter". This will certainly not help you in any way.
Your second attempt you turned of the power, then back on again and immediately you pushed "fade in/out". Did you wait for the screen to ask "load from disk"? I could not see it clearly.
Third attempt you did the same only pressing "Intro1". Did you also now wait for the screen to ask "load from disk"?
This is essential because the bios will have to register your floppydrive first before it knows where to look for the OS.
Maybe I'm making an ass of myself here and irritating you in the process, but I shure would like to exactly understand that you try the procedures EXACTLY in the correct manner, because power off/on immediately and pressing all kinds of buttons prematurely will result in nothing; the same result you have been experiencing, and in worst case it will result in permanent damage to your components. And about the buttons not lighting up, this could be a result of the OS is not found, therefore the keyboard does not know it has any lamps.
Now if you already tried what I am describing feel free to yell at me...

If not, please try this.
By the way, adimatis is speaking of your floppyDRIVE, not your floppyDISK.

Second, I have done the methods you describe (pressing Intro1 or Fade In/Out instead of the Enter button) but I have not been successful in either attempt. And sorry for the confusion, my goal in replying to adimatis' message was to say that my DRIVE worked fine indeed (since my floppies were being read just fine in other computers). At this point I am thinking of taking my Korg to a local authorized dealer and seeing what their suggestions are. A friend of mine told me that he had the same problem as I am having and that the main board (which costs ~$300) needed to be replaced and under warranty this is replaced for free (but I have no warrantyKorgfan123 wrote:Thank you for all the replies so far.
