Remove knobs and slider

Post by oldboya »

Does anyone know how easy it is to remove the knobs? i pulled a little on them and they dont seem to want to move at all.

I'm trying to remove everything because my slider is starting to gradually grind more and more.

no problem at all. just pull a little harder. I removed all knobs as part of styleflipping it.

To prevent possible knob jitter, I think you wanna pull them off as straight up as possible, instead of rocking back and forth. It helps if you can find something to pry from both sides at once.

KNOBS AND SLIDERS

Anybody has any idea where to order some nice knobs for the EMX1 - as the original ones are really cheap. You will mainly see how cheap they are once you have taken them off..........

does it matter? I took mine off (for the styleflip) , they seemed as cheap as they've always done :p I know there are some guys who took the knobs from their ER/EA/ES/EM, but personally, I just though it looked ugly as hell. + I prefer the ESX/EMX knobs..

there are kits you can buy online, but they are very expensive (like $100 for a full set)..
