Hey folks,
Pardon my ignorance. Regarding an audio interface. I want to record Sequence/guitar/and vocals on my pc. I usually plug into my soundcard in the back of the pc and go from there to my recording software , Adobe Audition (another post). Do I need the interface for the m50 to record in stereo? Is the interface just more convenient, or does it supply a better signal for recording? Most of the ones I've looked at have come with recording software included, with different "loop" type programs and other "goodies" that I'd probobly never use. I guess my questions are: 1: Do I need one for my studio?-and- 2: Can you recommend a reasonably priced, good quality, setup for me?
Thanks in advance for your help

hmm, im trying to connect my M50 also to record, and asking around they said that yes you Would need an Audio Interface to be able to record Live into your PC. atleast what i was trying to do,
And the Interface that im looking at is the M-Audio Profire 610, its great for vocals i know that for sure, and im most like sure it should be good for instrumentals, but the Price range is around $400,
But, Do you need one for you Studio?
Yes, and at some Point along you can throw in a PreAmp.
but id say most interfaces under the Line M-Audio are preety good,
sorry if i wasnt much helpful hopefully someone else can come along and Give you some more tips.
