Hi tarek

Congratulations on getting the great PA800 and welcome to the forums.

To change the tempo, you must touch (highlight) the tempo on the screen and then you can use the data wheel or "+/-" buttons to adjust the tempo.

What do you mean by "beat meter"?
1. If you mean flashing indicator of the tempo then...
...since the PA1 there has not been a "beat meter" - the i-series did have it.

2. If you mean "Time signature" then that IS shown on the screen

Have fun

You could try using the Tap Tempo - this will set the correct beat for any style you go into. Alternatively use the Songbook to set tempos etc for each song you are playing.
Just a thought.
All the best,

Wait !!! It is not a bug, there is a very simple solution to your problem :)

Simply press and hold SHIFT button and then you can easily change the tempo by turning the wheel or pressing +/- with the SHIFT button pressed.

You can do this in style/voice page or any other page where the beat meter is not visible on main menu.

Good luck !

There is no way for the beat meter. You can ask Korg to make this possible in a future OS update. This kind of thing is easy to add via software.

Too bad the old LED's beat meters are gone :)

 The beat meter is displayed just above the tempo value. Is it not enough? Do you need something more... violent :D ?

If you are in a style/voice menu there is no visible beat meter. Many people keep the HOLD button for the voice menu so that they can easily change the sound.
