that syncing feeling - does your kp3 output midi clock?

Post by richard s »

if I slave a kp2 or nord micromodular to my kp3 they do not recieve the clock from the KP3. They will accept a clock from my akai MPC but not from the KP3. However I set up the KP3 - as master or slave - it will not output clock.

does yours?

as my KP3 refuses to work with the editor on any windoes machine I suspect some hardware problem

any insights?

I haven't had problems with midi clock. I've used the kp3 as a master and a slave on different occasions.

no probs here either.

What version of the editor are you using ?
Have you updated the KP3 system ?
Lastest KP3 drivers ?

everything is version 2 and KP itself is updated. the midi sync output just doesn't work :(

with a PC I can communicate well enough to update the system but the editor cant make contact with my KP3. I tried with three different windows XP machines

I think these problems must be connected?
