Hi,
I plugged in my new pedal and it all works fine in terms of changing volume or changing programs down and up in what banks have to offer which is a bit useless in my opinion.
What really interests me however is how to program it so that I could swap between 2 specific programs, or between a program and a combination and even better between more than just 2 completely different elements.
HOW TO ACHIEVE THIS? (please give me specific instruction as I could not find it in the menu, but I am sure it is doable)
Looking forward to you precious suggestions.
Peace!
Kate

AFAIK, you cant do it on any KORG workstation.

Wow, that's little disappointing.
Forgive my my silly question, I am new to synthesis and workstations, but
how can I then change instruments in the fly for live performances like eg. Jordan Rudes does.
What mode should I play in to achieve this effect?
Thank you again for kind reply.

Rudess uses combi mode and his footswitch is assigned to program up. Then he just presses it everytime he needs to change a patch. This way he actually has to save the same combi many times in different locations. Actually in some interview he said that he might have even 300 combis for one evenings gig that he "steps" through... I use the same method and for six songs which is our live set at the moment I have 67 combis, but only about 15 different ones because some basic string-patches and stuff like that gets used a lot in my music.

Thank you Synastikki, that was pretty informative.
1.So, as I understand it in order to switch between just, lets say, 3 combis (in both directions) I'd have to plug in 2 pedals and one would be assigned up and the other down?
2.Also, in Korg Extreme there are certain banks that are left for the user to fill them with the combis the user wants. What if I want to replace the combis in banks A,B,C with my own ones?
Then if I got tired of my sounds and wanted to get back the original default combis would it be possible?
3.Also is there a way for an owner of this instrument to make a backup of all the default combis and programms that the instrument contains to a computer hard drive?
